My unit is only blowing cold air

Lack of gas to your furnace could be the culprit behind this. This can be confirmed by checking if the pilot light is lit, and then checking your fuel supply.

There is no airflow

This could be as a result of a dirty furnace. Change and clean your filters to see if this allows for proper airflow.

I can smell gas coming from my ducted system!

A gas leak can present a potentially dangerous situation: turn your gas valves off immediately and contact Maroondah Air Services. Consider staying at a friend or relative’s home until the leak is fixed.

The thermostat is not working

Check to see that any fuses or circuit breakers haven’t tripped and that all settings are configured properly in the thermostat itself. As this is an electronic problem, call Maroondah Air Services for expert help.

The keypad is blank

If your controller operates using batteries, check to see if the batteries need replacing. Otherwise, check the electrical panel to see if any of the breakers have tripped and need to be reset.

How often should I get my ducted gas heating system serviced?

According to Energy Safe Victoria, all forms of gas heating should be serviced every two years. Maroondah Air Services provide regular gas heater servicing exactly when you need it, taking the worry off your mind.
